Ramie's mom, dad and grandma made their first trip to visit us in North Carolina.  We had a great time visiting and showing them around.  We took them to Historic Brattonsville, South Carolina.   Brattonsville played a part in the Revolutionary War and was later one of the largest plantations during the antebellum period.  We also visited Kings Mountain National Park.  One of the most decisive Revolutionary War battles was fought here.  As we hiked around the park we could see where the actual battle took place.  It was not only fun but we also learned a lot.  As you can see from the photo, their timing was perfect..... the leaves were in their peak while they were here.  We had a great time and can't wait for them to come back.

Halloween Tradition

It is a Halloween tradition that Scooter dress up in a costume.  This year he was a hot dog.  The neighbor kids love him and loved to see him in his costume even when he knocked them down the stairs with his bun.

Our new home in North Carolina

This has been a big year for us with a lot of changes.  We recently moved to Charlotte North Carolina.  It was a crazy and hectic summer but are in our new home and getting settled in.
